Sticky Pictures and Headspinner Productions have partnered to develop Scott Stuart's best-selling book My Shadow is Pink into an animated series. An uplifting series concept about daring to be different and having the courage to be true to yourself. My Shadow is Pink is about Colin Hill, a sweet, clever, energetic 7-year-old boy with a big heart, an adventurous nature… and a pink shadow. His shadow loves princesses, dresses, and "things not for boys". He wishes his shadow was blue, just like his Dad. He soon learns that everyone has a shadow that they no longer need to hide - the most important thing is to be true to yourself.
My Shadow Is Pink is a half hour series aimed at young kids (aged 3-7), and their families. Each episode consisting of 2 x 11 min episodes, that follow Colin Hill and his shadow having typical 7-year old adventures at home and school (and in some unusual locations when he travels with his Mum), with the hook that Colin has a special talent for identifying people who wish to embrace their true selves, but need a little support and encouragement to take the plunge.
