Get ready for the intergalactic adventures of three unlikely amigos in the high-energy animated comedy from Australian production house Sticky Pictures, “Winston Steinburger & Sir Dudley Ding Dong”, landing on ABC ME daily from Monday September 19 at 7.15am, also available on iview and ABC ME app.
This fast-paced comedy series for 6-10 year olds is led by Winston Steinburger – a fearless, fun-first, thrill-seeking Space Kid, who’s obsessed with exploring every solar system, star and space-monster in the Globulus Galaxy, millions of moons from earth. Winston’s mantra is simple: adventure + aliens – annoying girls = AWESOME!
Exploring space is a lot more fun to do with pals, so Winston rolls with his best friend (and pet cat) Dudley; a dim-witted yes man who jumps before you can say “how high”, and a high-strung indoor-type alien named Hampton, who has the difficult task of trying to keep Winston and Dudley grounded in space. Not. Gonna. Happen.
The Three Astronomical Amigos face death on the daily, squaring off against bubbling planets, bad-breathed Space-bandits and the worst nemesis of all, Pam The Destroyer - a tweenie-bopper with a manic personality, an itchy trigger finger and a mega crush on Winston. Yikes!
Fire up the space ship! Warp speed!
“Winston Steinburger and Sir Dudley Ding Dong” is an official Australian-Canadian co-production between Sticky Pictures and Entertainment One Family (eOne), for broadcasters TELETOON Canada and ABC ME.
